iPhone 7 Screen Repair – OEM or A Cheaper Replacement Screen?
With so many different repair prices for the iPhone 7 screen replacement, what is the best type to go for and what is the difference with the screen types?
At Celtic Repairs we know all too well about screen replacement prices & types as we are doing it for the 5 years. We go to every length to show the customer what the difference is, why we are more expensive than other repair shops and what exactly is the difference in the screen types
We decided to run a trial 4 months ago to show the customer, A: that there are different screen types & B: What would they choose when they had the correct information. The result have been a 100% take up on OEM as opposed to the cheaper alternative type
Many people will know that there are different screen types and know that the cheaper screen will not be the same as the Original screen that was on your phone. They will also know that the cheaper screen can have different issue’s, Quality, Display, Touch etc where as the OEM is a like for like screen that was on the phone from new.
iPhone 7 Screen Comparison
iPhone 7 OEM Screen Replacement:
Like for Like Screen Replacement. No Difference in Colour, Hue, Touch etc
iPhone 7 None OEM Screen Replacement:
Price is always cheaper, Different colour in display, Hue difference in colour and Photos, May also have touch issue’s, Freezes randomly, Touch not as exact as it was before hand.
Since we offered the 2 types on our site and showed the customer the difference, Nearly all customers have chosen the OEM screen. It is only slightly more expensive and the phone is fixed correctly and looks exactly like it was from new.
We hope this post can give some information on the screen types, why there are different screen prices and why some people have issue’s with there phone after they have it repaired. As the old proven saying goes “You get what you Pay For”
We recommend you choose the OEM part for your phone. You will be happier with the screen replacement & if you ever want to sell your iPhone 7 then you will get the correct resale value for it, No ones wants a washed out blue looking iPhone 7 display!
